Although skincare, or the image and concept of massaging and moisturizing and caring for your skin whilst lounging often contends with vanity, this is purely a product of obnoxious social media or marketing. Skincare, as a concept and habitual act, is lounging, relaxing, resting, massaging, grooming, winding down, and all such, as an act of relaxation and health than the pursuit of vanity.

The main point of this article is two-fold; 1. To dispel deceptions of skincare that instills cognitive dissonance and aversion, and 2. To Teach That Skincare As A Practice Is An Act of Relaxation and Connection To Body or Self, Which Cultivates Peace, Relaxes, Grounds, and Winds-Down. Just like warm relaxing shower or bath, sitting outside, and lounging about.

When you consider a mornign or evening/night routine, cultviating peace, winding down in the evening, relaxing, etc. factor in skincare, a 15 minute or so activity that relaxes and grounds and reciprocates.
