How To Have More Consistent Energy

The consistent energy that allows you to pursue your dreams and interests all day, and freely arrange your schedule as needed. Energy is your ability, or more so feeling and ease, to do anything and everything. In the world of play and passion, as well as work and placation, there are few things as fundamental as energy, and consistent energy. If you could work for 12 hours everyday, or pursue your hobbies and dreams in your spare time without fatigue, how much better would both feel and perform? If you could extend the few hours of your greatest focus, to last most of the day, how would you feel about your life and how much closer to your goals would you get faster?

It is one thing to burn a candle twice as bright for half as long each day, and another to burn a bright candle the entire day. If you have ever experienced it, you will know how much more fulfilling, relaxing, and serene it is to be inspired to & freely work on your interests & passions all day, compared to grinding a few hours and wandering through various activities the rest of the day.

Flowing All Day Greatly Differs In The Being Than Grinding For Part of It.

Circadian Rhythm

The circadian rhythm calculates and manages all the systems of the physiology. This is especially so for waking and attention, i.e. telling the body and brain when to be awake (and when to wind down & sleep). Without a strong circadian rhythm, the body & brain have to look for various cues to supplement a ‘general’ idea of when to wake, when to be motivated, when to be energized, etc. Naturally, this isn’t efficient. By establishing a strong circadian rhythm, you will have a consistent stream of energy and motivation, like a candle burning brighter and longer. The world will seem brighter and everything will seem easier, as well as hobbies and interests or even solutions to work just flowing to you naturally.

Sunlight

Sunlight works in unison with circadian rhythm to exert its effects, acting as a cue for the body & brain to ‘be awake’ and ‘be energized’. It also promotes consistent energy in its own way. Sunlight stimulates the cytochromes and mitochondria to produce more energy as ATP, and stimulates or ‘kickstarts’ many other physiological processes in the body, organs, muscles, and brain to produce more energy, be more relaxed, be healthier, etc. which of course all results in a more consistent energy throughout the day; What better compliment to a burning candle than the sun.

Protein

Protein is the foundation of the body and energy production. Eating more (or more likely, simply enough) protein has profound effects on your energy throughout the day. With protein deficiency, your body and brain cannot produce enough energy, and you become physically depressed and demotivated. Protein is also essential for dopamine production. You might be surprised by your daily protein requirements, and how much you are actually getting, as protein deficiency could be called a ‘silent epidemic’ like some other nutrient deficiencies which are overlooked.

Creatine

Creatine Monohydrate is a supplement that increases ATP and improves energy production, mostly used for improving endurance and pump for exercise. By improving the energy of your body, as well as your brain, or its ability to produce it, naturally you will have more consistent energy throughout the day, to be active and pursue your goals.

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea is an apoptogenic herb that is well known to increase bodily and mental energy greatly. It increases ATP and improves mitochondria, as well as reduces the effects of stress. There are very few supplements as profound and consistent for energy.

Sleep

It goes without saying that your sleep has a fundamental effect on your energy levels. This is inherent, so I won’t go into more detail with it. That being said, if you pay attention to the days you have much energy and the days you have little energy, you might notice some patterns in your sleep, such as waking up feeling a certain way.

Dopamine

One of the most fundamental aspects of consistent energy is Dopamine. Often what people call ‘energy’ or ‘lacking energy’, is actually just referring to dopamine, which motivates or moves their body and brain & mind. Injuries to the dopamine center in the brain can make people so unmotivated, they essentially become paralyzed. Dopamine facilitates wakefulness and attention, its what empowers you to focus. Coffee or caffeine increases dopamine, which is part of how it exerts its effects. In fact, many of the things here increase dopamine to great effect, and is also part of how they work – Protein, Sunlight, Good Sleep, and Rhodiola Rosea all increase dopamine significantly.
